Our Mission Statement: TCorp is dedicated to reducing the amount of energy needed to live comfortably, increase productivity in the workplace, reduce energy waste, and championing the efficient use of only the energy we need. We believe that it is critical that we find ways to conserve the remaining fossil fuels available while we develop alternatives that will support an ever increasing need for energy the world over.
Peter Tousley, President of TCorp is an Energy Manager and a Sustainable Design Professional certified by the Association of Energy Engineers and is a member of the Champlain Valley Chapter of the Association of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, (ASHRAE). He is a University of Vermont graduate with a B.S. in Applied Technologies and has completed an advanced study program in energy engineering from the University of Wisconsin. As an energy engineer, Peter has been instrumental in the development of energy savings programs for electrical utilities, and commercial, industrial, institutional customers and municipalities. “Since 1980, we have helped save schools, municipal, commercial and industrial customers over $1,000,000 each year and there are many opportunities yet to be discovered. Most of the US building stock is over 20 years old and high operating costs reflect their age.”
Jere Berger, Field Engineer has a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Vermont and an Architectural Engineering degree from the Vermont Technical College. Jere is a trained thermographer, and mechanical systems designer. Jere has worked for NASA and the University of Vermont as a computer programmer. He is able to identify deficiencies in Building Automation Systems and communicate with the programmers of these sophisticated control systems and make the changes necessary to improve performance and save energy.
