Vermont Army National Guard (VTARNG)
Since 2002, TCorp has worked for the VT Military Department as their contracted energy manager. During that time period, TCorp has provided Energy Management, Resource Efficiency Managment and engineering services saving sufficient energy costs to pay for its own services.
Requirements:
As the Guards Energy Manger:
- TCorp monitors many of the VT Army National Guard's largest buildings responding to requests by maintenance staff and signals from building automation systems when systems are not running at their peak performance;
- TCorp audits approximately 250,000 Square feet of soldier and civilian occupied space each year investigating any area where energy use can be reduced while maintaining or enhancing the workplace environment;
- TCorp has provided energy audits, feasibility studies for renewable energy opportunities, design and specification, and management services for projects such as lighting retrofits, HVAC replacement and Building Automation Systems.
Success:
TCorp has helped the Vermont Army National Guard reduce energy consumption and meet Federally mandates.
